The Terry County Heritage Museum plans a $200,000 one story addition at Cardwell Street with 2570 square feet more space for exhibits a workroom storage and an elevator. Architects are Brasher Goyette and Rapier of Lubbock. Construction hinges on securing grants from foundations including Ford Foundation and other funding sources.
The Farmers Home Administration will guarantee up to 90 percent of principal and interest on rural housing loans made by private lenders to moderate income Texans. Eligible homeowners may use guarantees for buying building improving or rehabilitating houses and related facilities with income limits under 15600 per year. Low income applicants may qualify for subsidized loans. guarantees cover first 25000 at 97 percent and excess at 95 percent.
