DWI Charge Filed in Brownfield Lockers Theft
Brownfield police investigate a burglary at Brownfield Frozen Food Lockers 916 West Main where $1 in cash and locker keys were taken. Entry came via a rear door, locksmith status of lockers undetermined. Police Friday arrested L H Hubbard 64 of 407 West Bridges for DWI and illegal transportation of alcoholic beverages. Hubbard posted bonds totaling $1 100 and $200 for separate charges.

Wellman elementary cagers will host teams from six South Plains schools in a week long basketball tournament.
