Feeder Show Slated Saturday Across Terry County
About 43 Terry County 4 H and PFA boys will show calves Saturday morning at a Jaycee sponsored feeder show. Dawson county agent will judge the stock on a feeder basis in three groups. Six showmanship awards will be given and calves weighed at Good Pasture Grain with prizes for best gains before the April show. The event aims to train boys early for the Terry County Junior Livestock Show April 21 22. Ten calves expected from Wellinan PFA six from Meadow twenty three from Brownfield and four from 4 H members.

Boys Pass 99 In Hot Checks Caught In Public
Two boys ages FH and 2 were placed on probation in parental custody after admitting forging and passing seven to eight checks worth 5 to 15 dollars. Judge Chesshir criticized merchants for cashing many checks and urged community responsibility for reform.
