Filing for trustee elections in Terry County continues through March 17 with elections on Saturday May 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in all four districts. Brownfield CISD at large districts 6 and 7 hold re elections for Bob Simpson and Enedina Muniz who filed Monday. Meadow ISD at large seats held by Loyde Jordan and Joe Perez, filing in superintendent’s office. early voting 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays in Administration Building. Wellman has three at large seats open.

Six campus principals’ contracts approved. two-day waiver for Middle School restructuring granted. May 1 trustees election set with May 3 canvass.
Brownfield City Council will meet at 7:30 a.m. Thursday to hear a request related to old homes with Van Line Property, review a miscellaneous engineering agreement with Parkhill, Smith and Cooper, call a city election, and appoint judges and absentee clerks.
