Police blotter reports thefts and assaults in Brownfield

County Officials Attend Session at Texas A&M
County judges and commissioners from 160 Texas counties met February 16 18 on the Texas A M campus for the seventh annual County Judges and Commissioners Conference. About 400 attendees set a record as Gillis W Long spoke on the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. Attendees from Terry County included Judge Raymond Simms and Commissioner H B Dock Settle. The program focused on current county concerns and improving officials’ ability to discharge duties.
