Gebo Distributing to Open New Hardware Store in March
Gebo Distributing Company plans to open a new hardware style store in the old Farr's building at 310 S. 5th during the first week of March. The Plainview based outfit operates six stores in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico with Travis Spencer of Littlefield as manager. About three local clerks will be hired. State Highway Markings To Consolidate Route Numbers
The Texas Highway Department approves changing markings on ranch to market roads in Glasscock Reagan and Crockett Counties to provide a single Brownfield to near Ozona route. RM 1800 RM 35 and RM 865 will be re designated to extend State Highway 137 along existing paths to SR 29 and beyond. The revision will appear on the 167 Official State Highway Map.
