Brownfield to Open West Texas Children’s Assessment Center
On February 13 1991 Terry Memorial Hospital District trustees agreed to open the West Texas Children’s Assessment Center in mid March at Brownfield Regional Medical Center. Director Jerry Reyna outlined a structured 30 day maximum stay with 2 staff plus security plans and strict access controls to protect abused or neglected children aged infant to 17.
