County 4 H Club Hosts Terry County Meeting
Terry County 4 H Club met February 9 with twenty members six leaders and two guests. Les Hancock presiding introduced Lynn Addison who led the pledge. Attendees reviewed a film Judging Mares at Hatter and discussed placing four horses in a class. Raffle tickets for a shotgun fund sale were announced with proceeds to TC 4 H. money due by February 27 noon.

Friday Rites For Joe Brown Funeral Held In Brownfield
Funeral services for Joe W. Brown 67 of 1317 E. Hester were held Friday at the First Christian Church with Rev. Jack Garrett and burial at Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Brownfield Funeral Home handled arrangements after Brown died of an apparent heart attack at Brownfield General Hospital. Born December 29, 1908 in Forney, he grew up in Haskell, married Lula Howard in 1933 and moved to Brownfield in 1934 where he farmed. He is survived by his widow, a son Dwayne, a daughter Barbara Wheatley, four grandchildren, and siblings Mabry, Roy, Lamira, Ruth, and Omalee. Large crowds attended church services led by various ministers through Sunday.

Reagan delegate committee set to meet in Brownfield
Robert L. Monaghan announced that the Ronald Reagan Delegates Selection Committee for Congressional District No. 19 will meet February 15 at 2 p.m. in the Brownfield Chamber of Commerce Directors' Room to pick four delegate nominees for the Texas Republican Primary. He cited Reagan's petitions and broad Texas support and urged public attendance.

Meadow High announces J Howard Stovall and Brian Albert Bayer will be included in the Prep All America Football Yearbook 1975-76. Nominees were chosen by coaches writers and recruiters. national All-America 100 will be revealed in March 1976 with local achievements featuring in July 1976 edition. Dwight Keith of Coach & Athlete leads the selection committee.
