Eighteen Years Of Hard Work Build A Poultry Wise Farm
H H Harred, who moved to Terry County from Arkansas, proves farming pays with an egg enterprise. He runs about 250 hens producing roughly 120 eggs daily and plans to add 250 pullets. He rejects debt and favors constant culling. County Agent Jim Foy notes limited cage production interest here due to marketing. Harred engages in community work and sits on the County School Board. His grandson David Lee Cunningham, son of the ranch foreman, joins in the family business.
