Absentee voting rules set for local primaries
County clerk Ann Willis announced absentee voting opens in one week for the Republican and Democratic primaries. Voters must show a yellow or white registration card depending on timing, with special forms for those missing yellow cards who are registered. First time allowed for in person absentee voting. mail-in voters must cite one of five reasons. Willis predicts 800 plus absentee votes.
