City sales tax rebate checks rise with 1984 payments
State Comptroller Bob Bullock announced checks totaling 105.4 million dollars were sent to 980 cities, with statewide payments up 2.57 percent from 1983 despite a shift of 15,000 taxpayers from quarterly to monthly reporting.
