Ceremony in Copenhagen Denmark for Kirsten Andersen and Donald R Boyd
Miss Kirsten Andersen and Donald R Boyd were married in a double ring ceremony at a Lutheran church in Copenhagen Denmark on January 14. Boyd, longtime Brownfield resident, is the 27 year old son of Mrs Tommy Zorns of Clovis and Claud Boyd civilian employee for Amarillo Air Force Base. Boyd will return to the United States sailing March 1 for New York.

4-H Gold Stars Awarded Huge Crowd At Program
Winners of the elusive Gold Star awards in the Terry County 4-H program during 1960 were recognized Monday night. Beverly Hendricks and Danny Thurman received the Gold Stars from County Judge Raymond A. Simms. The event at The Party House drew a capacity audience with 38 4-H members also recognized and Cotton and Grain Sorghum contest winners honored with checks. Emcee Bob Etheredge, a former Terry County assistant agent now with KFYO, helped present awards sponsored by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service. Refreshments followed.
