Area eradication zone sets four year rates budget
The Western High Plains Boll Weevil Eradication Zone Committee and Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation agreed on a total budget of 97.15 per acre over four years for about 800000 cotton acres. If approved by referendum, an intensive diapause spray starts this fall followed by overwintering treatment and season long control based on trap catches in years two through four.
