Yoakum County Connection wins state alliance award in Temple
Yoakum County Connection earned a 1996 Texas Alliance Salutes Award at the Temple state meeting November 13 16. Linda Powell and Ann Hartman received the painted plate at noon November 14. The group began as a 1994 Yoakum County Art Association dream and was chartered in August 1996 with help from L. J. Sanders. It promotes economic development tourism and arts education across Yoakum County.
