Democratic nominees include Terry County Judge Doug Ryburn and Tax Assessor Collector Roxann Turrentine along with Richard Van Der Vlist Precinct 2 Commissioner Dale Andrews Terry County Treasurer Bobbye Jo Floyd District Clerk Paige Lindsey County Clerk Ann Willis and Justice of the Peace Mike Bennett. Republican candidate Larry Young seeks the primary. Precinct 4 Commissioner post now held by Jessie Hartman is open. Interested contenders must file by January 2 2006 with the respective party chairmen Joe Sears or Wade Cowan. Chairs positions also open.
