BRMC okays property sales and computer upgrades
The Brownfield Regional Medical Center board approved selling two back tax properties at 502 E Hill for 1000 dollars and 4145 5th St for 1800 dollars with values around two thousand. They tabled a third sale near 958 Highway 82. They also authorized upgrades to the hospital computer system to enable electronic medical records by 2014 and improve storage and speed with server replacement costing about 57,359 dollars as part of a 113,410 dollar project.
