Memory Lane in Brownfield as Price recalls early town life
A Brownfield reminiscence details Price family roots from 1920s to 1960s, noting prairie life, water in draws, and a growing town shaped by deer, turkeys, corn, and early autos. He recalls the courthouse, square dances, a Ku Klux Klan presence, shopkeepers, barbering, and a 66 year marriage as Brownfield evolved through oil booms and downtown changes.
