BISD Board rejects change to Extracurricular Code of Conduct
Brownfield ISD trustees failed to pass a motion to amend the Extracurricular Code of Conduct by a 2 to 4 vote. Clint Ellis and Grady Herron supported the change, while Monty Henson Terry Duncan Tony Serbantez and Wayne Taylor opposed. Joe Morin was absent. A three month review began after a Sept meeting and a 7 member committee recommended excluding summer months. A 111 survey showed 58 favoring the revision and 53 favoring the policy as is.
