Shoemann resigns Brownfield city role amid family and youth focus
Shoemann will resign from the Brownfield City Council and step away from teaching Sunday School at St. Anthony’s while his family life shapes new directions. He cites pride in his service and notes ongoing work with the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, and United Way, as he prepares to move after taking over duties on December 30 and concluding by late January. He helped organize Goodfellows toy drives and youth programs, including a drug awareness poster contest, and supported scholarships from council stipends.
