A collection of children’s Christmas requests to Santa with toys and a note from a family in Frankfort, Kentucky. Also a brief report noting only 18 covered bridges remain in Kentucky, many in the Bluegrass region.
The report shows straight A honors for Rose Marie Tubb, a junior, and Joe Y as a sophomore, with Bevers and Jalmine Case as freshmen. B honors include Rose Arrezola and On Watts as seniors, Dixie Woodard as a junior, Mary McCollister as a sophomore, and Barry Jones and Ran as freshmen.
Robert B. Sampson of 902 E Reppto has been named District Deputy Grand Master of Masons for Masonic District No. 94 overseeing eight lodges in Cochran, Terry, Yoakum and Hockley Counties. He is GM of Charles Paul Cheverelo et Co and Past Master of Brownfield Lodge 903. The appointment by J D Tomme Jr was announced at the 131st Grand Lodge Annual Communication in Waco on December 8.
