Brownfield bands unite for three school Christmas concert
Brownfield High School and Brownfield Middle School bands totaling 374 students will perform a combined Christmas concert Thursday in the BMS Auditorium. The evening features beginner, cadet, Red Express and Spirit of the Plains bands with selections including Deck the Halls and The Christmas Song. Admission is free with ticket pickup at the BMS Band Hall.

The Brownfield Chamber of Commerce and local merchants sponsor a Thursday night holiday event at three sites. Santa arrives at 6 p.m. at the Brownfield Shopping Center then moves to the Floral Center at 7 p.m. and courthouse square at 7:45 p.m. The program features choirs, a mayoral greeting, and performances by Brownfield Middle School and local talent, with prizes and candy for youngsters.
