Brownfield Board Accepts Resignations of Coaches Greer and Jones
Brownfield school board Monday night accepted the resignations of head football coach Toby Greer and coach Charles Jones. Greer, in his six years as head coach, praised the community and stated he would seek another job without a clue of his next position. Jones came from Baylor two years ago and also expressed thanks. Both plan no immediate future, remain teaching until year end, and the district will pursue a new coach while building a three man staff and letting basketball coach Farris Nowell focus on his sport.
