Wellman-Union Wildcats Eye Open Offense In Season Opener
Wellman Union Wildcats, now merging as Wellman ISD Union ISD, feature a wide open attack this season after losing star tailback Sean Rowden who gained over 2,000 yards last year. Coach John Cornelius returns 12 lettermen including quarterback Bryan Chrestman and fullback Shaun Adams as the offensive line anchors a plan emphasizing ball control with big plays. The team opens September 5 at home against Wilson at 7:30 p.m.
