Good News For BRMC Medicare Payments Increase

Acting BRMC Administrator Pat McMillan said the hospital is financially sound with high occupancy and a recent surge in Medicare backpayments. Horse Thieves Steal Brownfield Police Captain's Mount

A quarter horse owned by Brownfield Assistant Police Chief James Roe was reported stolen from the W. W. Lewis farm seven miles east of Brownfield. The dapple-gray horse valued at 1250 with a circle K brand had its halter found near the pasture gate after an 8 am report.

Park Dispute Over Brownfield Area Green Space

A Brownfield resident complained the park between Park Lane and Magnolia Ave had not been moved recently and was overgrown, hindering children’s play. Reward Offered For Arrest In Clovis Cline Burglary

A $300 reward is posted for the arrest and indictment of those involved in a burglary at the Clovis Cline residence between August 19 and August 23, 1981. Stolen items include a small stop motion projector a diamond ring a puzzle ring a cassette tape player a video game and a cabinet style RCA TV.
