Texas Plans 24c Furadan Label For Cotton Aphids
Agriculture Commissioner Perry issued a Section 24(c) Special Local Need label for Furadan 4F to control cotton aphids with a 90 day term and possible 10 day application window. Restrictions include gin trash separation and possession of the label. Projections show 1997-98 supply at 21.9 million bales and off take at 18.1 million with 13.655 million acres planted in 1997 Upland cotton nationwide. Texas production is expected near 5 million bales with High Plains near 3 million.
