BISD Board approves TAKS incentive pay plan
Brownfield ISD trustees designate 100000 from fund balance for an incentive plan to pay every campus employee between 300 and 500 dollars if TAKS standards are met. If all campuses qualify, district cost could reach 170500. The board also adopts HB 1440 based appraisal waivers allowing five year cycles for teachers meeting proficiency.
