BRMC Board adopts 2003 2004 budget amid tax concerns
Terry County tax appraiser Ronny Burran warned that the tax base has fallen sharply since 1987 driven by mineral value declines shifting burden to personal property and real estate. The board approved a 27 cent tax rate while detailing the hospital’s finances and a proposed 489000 therapeutic swimming pool project with potential community contributions.
