Sears Named New Chamber Manager For Brownfield
After an executive session, Brownfield Chamber of Commerce directors hired Joe Mac Sears as chamber manager effective Tuesday. Sears, a lifelong Brownfield resident with a Texas Tech ADPR degree, previously worked at Resthaven Funeral Home and as a West Texas salesman. A public reception is set for next Monday 4 to 5 30 p.m. at the Chamber building. He succeeds Jackie Moss, who resigned last Friday.

Old Settlers Reunion Planned at Brownfield Legion Hall
The 1997 Old Settlers Reunion, the 37th annual event, is set for this Saturday at the Brownfield American Legion Hall.
