Juvenile program in Brownfield praised despite costs
Jackson outlined the Terry County Juvenile Board contract with Student Alternative Programs Inc. to run the juvenile justice facility. The program, already copied by Plainview and Hale County, faced academic challenges and will add a master teacher and self paced options. Stults described weekly social skills sessions helping youths manage anger and problems, with referrals to MHMR when needed.
