Brownfield family pride anchors Terry County history feature
Lee Brownfield, born in 1914 in Brownfield, Texas, reflects on his deep family roots that shaped Terry County. The Brownfields helped found the area, and Brownfield served 20 years on the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority board, aiding Lake Meredith water delivery and local development. He also recounts early life, business ventures, and devotion to family, and hopes to attend the Old Settlers Reunion sponsored by the Terry County Pioneer Association.
