MS Campaign Assists Talking Book Program
The South Plains Chapter of the National MS Society runs its annual fund drive with volunteers canvassing for donations. Campaign leaders Mrs. Johnie Gauntt and Mrs. Nadyne Guidry coordinate support for the libraries’ talking book program aiding MS patients with visual or physical disabilities. The service, funded by Library of Congress programs, provides free phonographs and talking books via 34 regional libraries to readers unable to access standard print.
