Brownfield Police six month report for 2001
Brownfield Police Chief Roy Rice released the six month report covering January through June 2001. The department answered 3,069 traffic contacts and 8,292 total calls, with 189 speeding, 121 license violations, and 76 truancy citations. There were 179 city warrant arrests, 215 offenses reported with 146 cleared, and property losses of 103,985 dollars with 54,694 dollars recovered. Animal control handled 307 animals with 414 euthanized and 348 traps deployed.
