Pioneer Association Plans First Annual Reunion in Late August
The Terry County Pioneers Association held its first session and named an entertainment committee for the August reunion. Oldest resident honorees were George W. Neill and Annie Hamilton Hunt, with several other long-time Terrans recognized. Membership opens at $1 yearly with a 40 year residency rule, aiming for about 300 dues paying members by August.

Cynthia Gober, 2, daughter of Ray and Mrs. Gober of Meadow Route 1, ingested chemically treated grain while her father worked a tractor. He rushed 17 miles to Terry County Hospital where grain was removed from her stomach. Dallas analysis warned of serious reactions if absorbed. She stayed overnight for observation and is home now reported doing fine. Grandparents listed.
