Brownfield High School and Brownfield Middle School bands earned Division I ratings at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest in Lubbock on April 20, securing the coveted Sweepstakes Trophy. Middle School conducted by Bill Shipp and High School Symphonic Band conducted by Richard Herrera delivered first divisions in both performance and sightreading, while the Concert Band earned second in concert and first in sightreading.
