Brownfield ISD trustees approved two staff development waivers for campus level and district wide programs to begin next year. Intermediate School will run Move It Math with 30 hours plus prep days Aug 8 12. The district also accepted a Regional Media Service Contract for the 1994 95 year providing library materials and educational media through Region 17.

Mark Wood moved from the Dallas metro area to Brownfield to open Brownfield Animal Clinic at 110 E Main two and a half years ago. A Carrollton native and 1985 Texas A&M graduate, he runs the clinic with his wife Susan and values Brownfield’s friendly community, involvement with schools, and his own business ownership. He has two young children Amy and Adam, is an Optimist Club member, teaches Sunday School, and leads Brownfield Babe Ruth Baseball League duties.
