Cubs fall 8-3 to Seminole in district clash
Brownfield Cubs dropped an 8-3 road loss to the Seminole Indians after a pivotal sixth inning rally. Mitch Guerra drew a crucial full count walk, scoring on a Clay single and Peel’s homer widened the margin before Cavazos added two RBI doubles. Sellers, Green, Serbantez, Huston and Pickett contributed in earlier innings as Brownfield battled back from a 3-1 deficit. Coach Jerry Pyles emphasized needing wins to reach playoffs with two of three games at home remaining, starting Friday against Lamesa.
