BCISD announces April 28 as the deadline to transfer students for the 2000 2001 school year. Parents wishing to transfer to Brownfield CISD should submit a transfer form at the Administrative Offices 601 Tohoka Road from 8 a.m. to 4 30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Preregistration for the 2000 2001 school year in Colonial Heights is set for April 27 from 3 p m to 7 p m at Colonial Heights Elementary School 1100 E Reppto. Required documents listed. For more information contact Colonial Heights staff at 637 4282.
The Brownfield Boys Basketball Summer Camp runs June 5 to 9 for boys entering grades 3 through 9. Cost is $4 per person, daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration forms are available at The Water Hole and Brownfield High School, with Coach Matthew Neighbors reachable at 637-4523 for details.
Brownfield High School senior Georgia Seeley received a Carr Academic Scholarship from Angelo State University for 2000 2001. The award requires top 15 percent rank or SAT 1140 or ACT 25, funded by the Carr trust of San Angelo. Scholarships range from 1500 to 6000 annually, totaling 6000 to 24000 over four years for undergrads.
