Brownfield Crime Information Inc offers 300 reward for information leading to arrests in theft of about 500 from the Western Club on Lubbock Road dated March 26 and 28. Burglary of a motor vehicle at 510 E Hill on March 27 1982 involved engine and transmission theft from a 1971 GMC pickup. Burglary of a residence at 714 Park Lane occurred between 7 30 p m 3 27 82 and 3 17 a m 3 28 82 with entry through the back door and theft of a TV HBO box stereo and small items.

Murder charges filed in Brownfield shooting death
Terry Wayne Brown, 21, of 215 E Hill Brownfield, jailed in lieu of 100000 bond after arrest on murder charges in the death of Roosevelt Jefferson 60 also of Brownfield. Jefferson died at 445 am after two gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Carolyn Proctor. Brown was brought to the station by Larry Reed.
