Commissioners OK remodel bids for courthouse and campus grounds
In a special session, Terry County Commissioners accepted the lone bid to repair the exterior of the courthouse. Karr Tuckpointing Co. of Vinton Iowa bid 34 370 with a 2000 discount for a fall start. Rick's Sprinkler Systems won two bids for Brownfield projects and Eddie Martinez was paid 875 for a pickup paint damage.

Arizpe pleads guilty to murder in Terry County
Michael Reuben Arizpe, 19, pleaded guilty to murder in a non jury hearing and received 50 years in TDCJ with at least 25 years before parole. District Attorney Dwayne Pruitt said the plea was part of a bargain to spare lengthy appeals and end the case for the victim Roy Frank McCullough. Also arrested were Jeffrey Perez, 18, Brownfield, and Jason Hernandez, 17, Fort Worth. their cases are pending.
