Mrs. Allie Smith, a Katy piano teacher born in 1892 in Gilliam Missouri, died suddenly after fainting at her sister’s home while visiting from Houston for a funeral. Services were held at Katy Baptist Church with interment in Katy Magnolia Cemetery. she left a daughter, two grandchildren, and four sisters.
