Of these 60 white 108 negro and 10 Mexican births were recorded along with 95 males and 83 females. Physicians attended 73 births midwives 103 and two unattended. Six hospital births and 172 at home. Eleven stillborns yield 6.2 per 100 live births. One mother died in childbirth 56.2 per 10 000 live births.
