Literary Society program entertains town audience

The Literary Society met in the Auditorium for its first program featuring songs recitations stories and poems by pupils including Junita Bernece Cooper Marguerite Wells Ora Mae Muske and Edward Entrop The group adopted blue and white as colors and white rose as the flower with the motto Learn as if to live forever Live as if to die tomorrow The meeting adjourned to Friday October 21 with tea chers and townspeople in attendance A northern visit and local notes follow including Joe Smith nursing a sprained hand and a playful remark about a car kicking harder than a mule.
