Call for Civilian Conservation Corps enrollees scheduled

A call on April 1 invites men to enroll in the CCC through the Waller County Family Welfare Association for potential service in national and state forests parks and on private lands. Applicants must be 17 to 28, unmarried, unemployed, US citizens with dependents, and willing to send most of a $30 monthly allowance to dependents. Enrollees receive clothing food shelter and medical care in camp.

Farmers notice for work sheet signings across three towns
