Social dance and visitors crowd Brookshire area
A lively Sunday night party at Miss Vivian Lewis featured a large group of local youths with several guests visiting from Houston and nearby towns. Numerous residents and friends were noted visiting, hosting, and traveling between Brookshire and surrounding communities during the week including Miss Elsie Stephan Miss Rosa Rubac Miss Vlasta Sostak and many others. A dance is planned at Aug Millers on March 14 with the nickname Jolly Dancer referenced.
