42 Club Meets at Muske Home with Feast and Games
The 42 club gathered Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Muske for supper and a round of 42. Mrs. F. M. Momeny won the top score and a cut glass pickle dish while Mrs. K. E. Martin received the booby prize a head of cabbage. Guests included H. T. Smith of San Antonio J. R. Garrett of Pattison and H. Seidel of the locality.

Weevil Poisoning Advised Regardless of Weather
The United States Department of Agriculture urges cotton farmers to apply calcium arsenate at four day intervals even in wet or unsettled weather. Rain will wash some away but timely dosing keeps weevils under control, and the operation remains profitable despite losses from rain.

Watermelons Move Afoot After Rain Wrecks Early Crop
In a few days watermelons should be on the move from this county though not a large crop. Much of the first and earliest planting was destroyed by continued rains a short while after it was planted.
