Farm to Market Roads Plan for Texas 3 Year Program
Public Roads Administration allocates thirty million dollars to Texas, matched by the state for a total of sixty million to build farm to market roads over three years. Waller County will receive about 36 miles of hard surface roads in district plans, including Hempstead Brookshire to Pattison and a 10 mile stretch south of Waller. The program foresees letting contracts late summer or fall with work starting next year, and no third road is planned.
