The Royal FFA banquet in the elementary school cafeteria honored fathers and friends with ceremonies led by Danny McCauley and John Tatum. Jack Diezi Jr. received the Greenhand Award. Services Held For Willie 5 Ginn 72 of Sunnyside
Funeral services for Willie Sallee Ginn 72 of Sunnyside were held at Schmidt Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Longenbaugh presiding. Burial followed at Katy Magnolia Cemetery. Survivors include wife Bessie Ginn three sons Norman Barbour and Ray a daughter Ohia Dean eight grandchildren and two brothers Joe and Earl Ginn. He died of a heart attack June 1 1965. He was born September 15 1892 in Lewis County Kentucky and moved to Katy in 1919. He was a former game warden and long active with youth and community service.

Funeral services for Ruby Elvin Weinman were held at First Baptist Church Katy with Rev. Charles Stewart officiating.
