Canning Club Organized by Miss Cameron in Brookshire
Miss Aolice Cameron and Miss Beulah Kaley visit Brookshire to start a Canning Club with about twenty five ladies. Officers elected: Mrs H N Savoy president and Mrs L E Ledbetter secretary. A committee will assist the young women as they learn and demonstrate canning. Thursday morning members learned to can beans and at 3 PM demonstrated corn as a diet article. Miss Willie Donald leads this countywide effort.
