Funeral Services Held Friday for Mrs Fern Wellborn
Fern Wellborn born Fern Clapp died July 3 in Alvin after an eight month illness from cancer. She married David Wellborn in 1937 and lived on a Friendswood dairy for 16 years. Survived by husband, son Herndon, sister in law, two brothers, uncles, aunts, and many nieces and nephews. Services were at Martin Funeral Home Alvin with graveside at Pattison Cemetery.

Services Held For Mrs J F Moore 75 In Houston
Funeral services for Mrs. J F Moore 75 were held Monday at 2 p m in Houston with Rev J E McGaughy and Rev Gregory Longenbaugh officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Garden of Memories. She lived in Katy 32 years born December 6 1882 in Kansas City Missouri to Thomas and Ellen Kirk. She married Joseph S Moore in 1910 and moved to Katy on their honeymoon. She was active in Katy PTA Ladies Aid and past president of the Katy A. Surviving are husband Joseph S Moore son Joe K Moore two daughters Martha Branan and Helen Jo Moore four grandchildren David Larry Terry Joe and Pat Moore one brother Tom Kirk and a sister Mia.

Dr. Robert B. Seberg opened a dentistry practice for adults and children in Katy this week. He redecorated the former Floyd office on B Street and installed modern dental and X ray equipment. Melba Hill is receptionist and assistant. the Sebergs and their daughter Mary Jo moved from El Pago where he was an army captain and dentist.
