A warehouse north of the depot owned by LeGrange Co. and used for hay storage caught fire after the Katy Flyer passed on Wednesday night. Firefighters and a bucket brigade prevented spread due to recent rain filling ditches and minimal wind. No injuries reported. town alerted to fire risk.
Phe retiaine of Homer Marshall Whose death occurred at Wharton on Tuesday was brought in by train. He taught in Batterson and left parents and siblings. Interment scheduled Thursday at Patternosa. The Times extends sympathy to the bereaved. Max Kellner and Oscar Ross in Houston on business. Y S Sterling went to Houston. Ellis Hannon of Hempstead visited. Miss Bairng returned from Houston. F B Mekeska moving to Crosby. Knidner shipped two carloads of hay to Fort Worth. James Court was in session and disposed of all docketed cases.
